The house, in a bastide style, was probably built at the beginning of the 20th century. On the south facade, it has four openings on each of the three levels and three on the east and west sides. A few blind windows have been added for symmetric purposes. Each level has a decorative string course running along the wall. The wide roof ledge is made of wood, and the old wooden shutters have kept their jalousie mechanism. The rooms on the first floor open onto a large terrace overlooking the greenery and providing a cover for the terrace on the ground floor, from where five steps lead to the garden. The upper floors feature two balconies with original elaborate ironwork to the north and another balcony to the west, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Two outbuildings in the park round off the property.

The mansion

The mansion has an approximate surface area of 360 m² and faces south/south-west. It has been converted into 6 flats which are in excellent condition.

Ground floor
The entrance is on the west side through an antique wooden double door and features a porch providing shelter from bad weather. The hallway leads to the classic staircase rising to the upper floors. It is paved with terracotta tiles and has wooden stair nosing. A door opens onto a staircase leading to a small cellar in the basement. The space under the staircase is used for storage. The first flat faces north-west and can be accessed from the hallway or directly through a French window to the west. It comprises a living room, a kitchen and a shower room. The second flat is the most spacious and offers two bedrooms: one with a separate toilet and a French window opening onto a terrace to the east, and another one with a marble fireplace, with windows to the east and south. In addition, there is another shower room and an open living-dining room with kitchenette and marble fireplace. From this room, two openings give access to the 70 m² south-facing covered terrace and the garden. Above the two fireplaces are picture windows, and the original cement tile floors have been preserved.
First floor
The flat on the south-east side offers a bedroom, a shower room and a combined dining room with kitchenette and sitting room, this living space has a French window opening directly onto the south terrace. The other south-west-north facing flat consists of two bedrooms, a shower room, an entrance hall with kitchenette, at the end of which a balcony offers views of the Faron mountain. From the living-dining room a French window leads out to the south terrace.
Second floor
This level is identical to the first floor with 2 flats, except that there are no south terraces or balcony to the west. Nevertheless, each of the 2 north-facing bedrooms opens onto a balcony decorated with original ironwork, offering a view of the Coudon mountain.

The outbuildings

A laundry room adjoining a storage room is situated close to the house, as well as a large workshop.

Our opinion

This mansion offers abundant style and volumes. It is set in green farmlands close to the sea, in a park with large trees providing refreshing shade in the summer. This house, which could be sold furnished, would be ideal for a large family. It has, however, to be sold as a single entity, despite its six flats
