Description

The flat

Space-saving cupboards have been fitted under the interior staircase and a dining area has been created between the kitchen and the stairs. A bookcase frames the door to the right, which leads to the main bedroom with exposed beams and direct access to the outside. This is an independent master suite with a wardrobe and a shower room featuring a walk-in shower and a double washbasin. The wooden step staircase is lined with bookcases. The landing with exposed beams leads to a blue and white tiled bathroom with washbasin and toilet. Follow on the right the second room with parquet flooring and a workshop that could be transformed into an additional room. Both rooms also open onto and overlook the backyard. A cellar completes the property. The entire flat is south-west facing.


Garden
Accessed either through a double wrought iron gate at the end of the private driveway, or from the flat through the living room or master bedroom, the courtyard garden is paved with old cobblestones. Numerous plants and shrubs in earthen pots create and enliven different spaces. The surrounding green walls create a surprisingly bucolic atmosphere in the heart of the city. The backyard garden is for exclusive use in connection with the flat.

In the calm of a private lane that ends there, behind the gates of the courtyard garden, family life or artist's life, everything is possible. Some refurbishment work will enable future buyers to implement their project in an unusual location, in the heart of the city but preserved from hustle and bustle.
