Nantes, a very dynamic town from an economic, social and cultural point of view, is less than an hour from the Atlantic coast. It is easy to move around the urban area, not only because of the miscellaneous public transport services, but also because of the extensive cycle path network. The TGV train station provides links to Paris taking less than 2 hours. The international airport is 20 minutes from the town centre.
Particularly well-known schools and shops are within easy walking distance of the house.

The entrance hall is set in the middle of the main building. A wooden stairway, with baluster railings, goes up to all the floors.

This level, half way between the ground and first floors, takes up the attic space in the wing. Reached via a stairway and illuminated via skylights, it features strip pattern parquet flooring as well as the exposed beams of the roofing framework, whilst the slopes of the roof are painted white. A black marble fireplace enhances the wall facing the door. A kitchen and a shower room, with a toilet, make this a self-contained flat.
The stairway leads to a central landing. The floors are laid with strip pattern parquet flooring throughout. The old doors and their handles have been renovated; the cast iron radiators are decorated. This landing provides access to a study, a bedroom, with a shower room and an adjoining dressing room, as well as to another bedroom, with its bathroom.
This level is laid out under the rafters in the main building. The rooms are structured by the slopes of the roof and the beams left exposed in some of them. A corridor provides access to three bedrooms, each with its own shower room.
The garden and the outbuildings
This west-facing garden, enclosed by walls, is well protected behind the house and is made particularly pleasant by the amount of sunshine it receives. A stone terrace makes it easy for residents to go outside from the kitchen and the lounges. A gravel path leads to the outbuilding at the end of the garden.
This outbuilding, also renovated, is currently used as an exercise room.
A garage and a cellar complete this property.
