The “Cathédrale-Conservatoire” district, in the middle of Tours, is one of oldest in the city, with the castle and the 13th century religious edifice built within the walls of the Gallo-Roman town. Renowned today for its superb buildings, its monuments and its local shops, it is one of the city’s most sought-after areas. Everything from shops, schools, public transport and the TGV station, 5 minutes away, is within walking distance. This flat is in a one-way street, bordered by art galleries, antique shops, jewellers’ and boutiques selling interior decoration.

It is difficult to feel more in Tours than here. The district recounts the town’s history and the building blends in with a homogeneous group, far from any nuisances. The small co-owned building is immaculately kept. The flat’s outstanding interior layout is further enhanced by the effects due to its triple aspect. Urban life here gains a little more character.
