Location
Paris is 115 km away. Beauvais and its airport, with its international flights, are but 40 km away.
Three towns are to be found in the local area: Forges-les-Eaux, 10 km away, much-appreciated by tourists because of its thalassotherapy centre and its casino; Gournay and its SNCF train station, 15 km, with two return journeys every day to the French capital; and Buchy, 25 km away. Furthermore, their weekly markets sell a wealth of local produce.
The nearest village with a few shops is 6 km away.
Description
A little, winding road that goes up towards the pasturelands, free of all construction, comes to an end at the farm. The exceptional view of the surrounding countryside can be seen once through the gates to the property. A vast tarmac carpark precedes the buildings and the outbuildings which communicate with one another. A pond is fed by a spring. Trees, shrubs and an orchard are also present.

The first house
This house, dating from the 18th century, was once home to a country squire. Its half-timbered walls are supported on flintstone block lower sections. The gable roof, covered with slate, features a chimney stack and skylights. Some of the small-paned openings are protected by wooden shutters. French windows open on to a terrace.
Ground floor
A kitchen opens into a dining room and a lounge, where a monumental, brick fireplace, with a wooden lintel, takes pride of place. A frontal beam has been left in position. Two low stone walls, topped with exposed beams, form a partition between the dining room and the lounge. These living rooms precede a bedroom, with a bathroom and a guest toilet. Floors are covered with square terracotta tiles, exuding warm hues. The walls are painted light colours. A linen room completes this level. Two wooden, left-turning stairways provide access to the two sections of the second level.
Attic
The attic space, set out on the two sides of the building, houses two bedrooms, one of which has an open-plan bathroom and a study. Floors are covered with parquet flooring. Exposed beams adorn the ceilings and walls.
Cellar
This vaulted cellar spans a surface area of 32 m².
The second house
The walls of the old tithe barn, with its extremely high ridge, are constructed from brick and topped with a gable, slate roof, identical to that on the first house and the gallery. Floors are covered with hexagonal terracotta tiles. The roofing framework is exposed. Windows and doors look out at the first house and the countryside.
Ground floor
Two vast rooms, a lounge and a billiard room, as well as a shower room and toilet take up this level.
Attic
A landing provides access to two bedrooms.
The garage
A laundry room has been installed inside this garage.
The little house
On a level lower than the other houses, a little outbuilding features a roof extended by a J-tail section. It spans two levels and could easily be transformed into another house.
The small outbuildings
A woodshed and a small outbuilding adjoin the other houses.
Our opinion
Nothing but pure countryside, beautiful landscapes, peace and quiet as well as a few neighbouring farmers, everything contributes to making this property a wonderful place. Far from urban areas and the nuisances of civilisation, outings whether on foot, bike or other are the order of the day. Tranquillity and relaxation await the residents on their return.
