The apartment exudes a touch of the provinces or the countryside. With large volumes, French ceilings, waxed parquet floors, an enfilade of rooms, vegetation behind the windows, and an ambient calm, the ensemble evokes a peaceful life far from the chaos of the city. Set back from the street, it is nevertheless just a few steps from the Jardin du Luxembourg in the heart of the 6th arrondissement that is popular with Parisians and visitors alike. Through a multitude of personal touches, the property has the lived-in and well-loved feel of a place that is not just dedicated to holidays. There is the glimmer of a soul here. Guests will certainly feel at home, experiencing life as a Parisian for a moment, already filled with the memories they have made here.
This building where I was born, and where my children were also born and raised, is an integral part of who I am today! Parisian by birth, heart and soul, it is a source of great pride for me to be able to share where I live and my city.
Nestled between the famous Rue de Vaugirard and the Jardin du Luxembourg, this 16th century building built in freestone stands behind a small green courtyard which ensures all the calm needed to create a charming setting. With a surface area of 90m², the apartment is on the first floor. It has retained its original parquet flooring and beams which are still visible on the ceilings of the living room and the kitchen.
Built in the middle of the 16th century, this building is one of the rare private Parisian buildings to have preserved such a strong identity through the years. My family invested in this apartment and piece of history three generations ago. Thanks to a group of owners who are respectful of the history and the soul of the place, time has glided past the sturdy walls of this confidential address on Rue de Vaugirard without tearing them down.
We are enthusiastic about offering our guests a complete hotel service with a concierge. We ensure that security, comfort and service enhance the charms of this bright and peaceful place.
First on the list is the historic Jardin du Luxembourg and its art gallery located just a few dozen metres away. The district is extremely well supplied with places to eat. Of note are La Méditerranée which serves exquisite seafood dishes, Le Bistrot de l'Enfance whose menu is both high quality and varied, and Georgette which is equally excellent. L’Hypothèse is a cafe just next to the apartment on Rue de Vaugirard where you will be greeted with a uniquely warm service.

The entrance immediately opens onto a large living area on two levels, enlarged by a kitchen that opens onto the rest of the apartment. A corridor opposite the front door leads to the bedrooms, each of which has an en suite bathroom.
