Our opinion
The property lies near the city of Liège. It is an integral part of an age-old Benedictine abbey that has now been turned into a museum. The regional authorities renovated the edifice with a cultural purpose in mind. It adjoins a monumental covered entrance area that dates back to the 16th century. The building’s remarkable 18th-century facade is made of brick and limestone. It has a ground floor, a first floor and a second floor in the roof space. The property includes three modern exhibition halls that are spacious and fully equipped. An elegant apartment takes up most of the first floor, where there is an extensive lounge, a dining area with a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second floor includes a studio apartment. Acquiring this whole property would represent an investment with promising potential, close to Wallonia’s major tourist sites.
