Our opinion
Arroios is a multicultural district with authentic charm on high ground in Lisbon. This delightful area of the Portuguese capital is renowned for the gentle lifestyle that it offers and for its narrow, vibrant streets with shops. Here you can still hear poetic fado music – a traditional genre that made the singer Amália Rodrigues famous worldwide. Indeed, this art form was long practiced by the previous occupant of this apartment, which lies between Lisbon’s historical centre and the magnificent Avenidas Novas district.
