Our opinion

The river Meuse, flowing between Liège and Namur, is like an open book relating European history. Here and there, vestiges of the first neolithic men accompany the old, Knights Templars’ fortresses and the most famous of the First World War battlefields. There are a few outstanding chateaux and period houses, like this elegant 18th century manor, on the outskirts of a little town in the Condroz region. The building, emerging from the vegetation in the middle of a wooded estate of almost 10,000 m², stands out from the others courtesy of its onion-domed roof, typical of the traditional Mosan-Baroque style. The building, part of a much bigger architectural property, features vast reception rooms on the ground floor, together with a professional kitchen, having housed a gastronomic restaurant for several years. This property, free of all tenants, exudes great potential for a new tourist activity. Residents and guests will appreciate this luxury holiday home, just a few kilometres from the beautiful town of Liège.
