Our opinion
Before tourists, before cars and paved roads, Menorca belonged to the shepherds—to those who knew every nook and cranny of the land, every dry stone wall laid by hand to mark the boundaries of a pasture. This sheepfold dates back to that time. It has weathered the years without losing its essence. Forty-two hectares of unspoiled Menorcan countryside still surround it. Stone has shaped everything here: the shape of the openings, the thickness of the walls, the way the summer heat stays outside. As for the old sheepfold, it’s still waiting for someone to give it a new name.
