Our opinion
In the mountains of Lugo, a vast residence forms part of a rural architectural complex where several structures are arranged around a large inner courtyard. Houses, stables and a chapel form a complex that time has preserved, awaiting restoration. Stone arcades form a gallery surrounding the courtyard. The residential part has two living rooms, five bedrooms and a kitchen where a traditional wood-burning stove stands next to a stone sink. A caretaker's house and gently sloping grounds of over 17,500 m² planted with fruit trees complete the property. A spring runs through the grounds. This heritage site is crossed by the Primitive Way of Saint James, 60 km from Lugo and its Roman ramparts, which are listed as a World Heritage Site.
