Our opinion
This characterful property is tucked away in lush landscape in the east of Belgium’s beautiful Condroz region, just a few kilometres south of the city of Liège yet far from any dwellings. It includes a remarkable Walloon farm complex with a square courtyard on a plot covering three hectares with six hectares of meadows nearby. The buildings are arranged around a vast court. A covered carriage entrance leads into this court, where the main dwelling towers on one side. The house has a tall, well-built stone facade and offers a liveable floor area of around 330m² in addition to loft space that could be converted. The interior needs to be renovated. An annexe dwelling forms the east wing with two bedrooms. Around the rest of the courtyard there are barns and stables. More recent agricultural buildings stand elsewhere on the property, which will be free of leases by the end of 2025 at the latest. The property could carry on as a farm or be adapted to a business project in tourism or housing.
