Our opinion
The Penha de França district extends upon one of the seven hills of Lisbon, just a stone’s throw from the famous Bairro da Graça neighbourhood and its unrivalled panoramic views over the rooftops of the city’s old centre. The apartment lies on the third floor of a building that is typically Portuguese in style with a tiled facade, which was recently renovated. The apartment has been freshened up for modern tastes without losing its true soul and authentic charm. Its rooms are bathed in natural light and the two bedrooms are spacious and offer storage spaces. The fitted kitchen is modern and decorated with local colours. It is the perfect spot for cooking some fine Portuguese dishes like clams in sauce or pastel de nata pastries, before heading off for long strolls beneath magnificent sunsets over the nearby river bank.
