Our opinion
The building is impressive, with its high brick facades punctuated with large picture windows and glass doors, emblematic of the grand 18th century Walloon country houses. On a property of just under two hectares, the former agricultural estate has been converted into a vast and comfortable three-star hotel. Extensive and tasteful renovation work has provided the buildings with modern comforts, without compromising the authenticity of the premises. Elegant spaces have been created, but you can still make out the former farming volumes topped by the striking and impressive original roof timberwork. The complex includes several reception areas, a bar-restaurant, a spa and no less than 16 customised bedrooms. This extensive property, ideal for hosting seminars, benefits from a peaceful rural setting, close to the Charleroi conurbation and the main roads connecting to Brussels international airport in less than 20 minutes.
