Our opinion
History here is written in stone. This house is located in Nardò, a little town on the Salento peninsula facing the Ionian Sea. It still has some of its beautiful, original 16th century features, including these refined colonnades, made from the Apulia region’s famous white stone which, soft to sculpt, gave its name to the Baroque town of Lecce, the well-known neighbouring town. The garden adds a touch of comfort much-appreciated in a region where the evenings are of a legendary mildness. In short, a very pleasant way of life just a few kilometres from the Porto-Selvaggio beaches.
