Our opinion
Before the house, there is the plot. Before the plot, there is the view. And before the view, there is that distinctive silence of the Peloponnese, the one that descends upon the heights of Ano Doli as a matter of course, between Kalamata Bay and the mountains that frame it. Some 5,000 m² of terraced land have long been waiting here for someone to ask them a question. The answer could take the form of a 200 m² house, facing the sea, built into the hillside as if it had always been there. Santova beach lies below. Kitries and its waterside tavernas are ten minutes away. Kalamata is twenty minutes away. A plot of land that promises nothing. It offers something better: a blank canvas with a view of the Ionian Sea.
