Our opinion

This elegant manor house, nestling in a wood and concealed by dense greenery, appears like a peaceful and romantic vision of a writer’s retreat. A delightful property exuding character, it is currently used for a bed & breakfast activity. The inside of the main, particularly spacious house is well-suited to such a purpose. The reception rooms, with solid parquet flooring and moulded ceilings, are beautifully proportioned, as are the upstairs, with their nine bedrooms and bathrooms. These premises have been meticulously kept and renovated to include all modern-day home comforts. The old orangery, on the other side of the main courtyard, is a charming building, featuring wide glazed openings that let copious amounts of light flood into two bedrooms and their bathrooms. And lastly, a monumental barn has been ingeniously transformed into a comfortable leisure area, with swimming pools and a spa, all in keeping with the premises’ architectural unity. Beyond the garden and in the game-filled undergrowth comprising the 8,000 m² of parklands, pale and daring rays of sunlight shine through the treetops creating a dreamlike, ephemeral vista of this unspoilt natural setting.
