Our opinion

Olive groves have existed in the area around Nardò for centuries, providing the Apulia region with its wealth. Such precious harvests had to be well protected which is why the traditional masseria farmhouses used to be fortified. Nowadays, these vast farmhouses are often converted into renowned hotels or inns. This wonderful residence, dating from the 17th century, a golden age for this architectural style in the region, stands on the outskirts of the town in a 3,000 m² estate, planted with citrus trees. In need of renovation, this property will appeal to old stone enthusiasts. Agritourism is flourishing in the local area and the proximity of the sea further enhances this property’s potential.
