View over the countryside

Our opinion

On a hillside, with a view taking in the countryside around Ugento, a little historic town in the province of Lecce. This property spans a total of 20 hectares, 13 of olive groves and 7 of oak trees. These wonderful hunting grounds abound in wild game, mushrooms and truffles. The masseria, a noble 17th century building, is currently in ruins. It must have been vast given the size of the estate. Nowadays it is but a mass of stone walls, heated by the sun, just waiting to regain its original splendour. Stretching out, not far away, are the long, white, Lido-Marini or Torre-Mozza beaches, known as the “Little Maldives”.
