Description

The flat
Right from the entrance door, the corner living room and its four windows attract the eye. They illuminate the French beamed ceiling, the large overmantel mirror covering an old chimney flue, and the straight strip parquet. Three bedrooms are situated on either side of the living room. The kitchen in the centre overlooks the courtyard and can be accessed from both sides. The master bedroom has a shower room and private closet, the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. There is also a separate lavatory and a cellar in the basement. The windows are all double-glazed, and one of the bedrooms even features a double window. There is parquet flooring in the bedrooms, one of the bathrooms and the lavatories are tiled.
Our opinion
A flat offering a fluid and intelligent layout, a classic decor, a good amount of natural light and a choice location, combining elegance and practicality. Situated in the very heart of Lyon, the flat would benefit from a decorative refresh to underline its style, turning it into a ready-to-live-in property for aesthetes who appreciate the liveliness of a central district and the peace and quiet of a human-scale dwelling.
