Our opinion
Southern Menorca keeps its secrets hidden in its ravines. The Barranc de Cala en Porter is the most striking example: limestone cliffs, fig trees, almond trees, and a silence that the sea gently frames, just a fifteen-minute walk away—without ever breaking it. A house has stood there for a long time. Two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, one hectare of farmland and orchards, and a swimming area nestled among the trees. One hundred ten square meters that the essentials are enough to fill. Some places teach you to slow down. This one teaches nothing; it simply shows how things can be when you stop complicating them.
