Description
The old residence
The property comprises three buildings. The main building, the largest, tallest and probably the oldest, is flanked by two lodges on the south-east side. The roof timbers are of good quality and well crafted, although damaged. The walls are thick and without any cracks. Still in part occupied in the 1960's, the house is connected to the water, electricity and telecom networks. The floor area is approximately 300 m².
The outbuildings
The former stables are set against the eastern gable of the house. Another outbuilding, above a semi-basement, has a floor area of about 50 m².
Our opinion
Bringing this property back to life will undoubtedly be an exciting challenge for those with a passion for historic architecture and renovation. With its old stones and solid timberwork, the foundation is promising and substantial. The edifice offers large volumes, to be fitted out according to the desires and needs of its future occupants. The authentic rural landscape surrounding the property enhances its charm and potential, just 40 minutes from the capital.
