Our opinion
This villa was built around 10 years ago on a hill near the village of Terena. It is a large, modern villa with three levels and remarkable comfort. With its bold architecture, the house offers a contemporary, minimalistic interior, centred upon a vast, cathedral-ceilinged main space that leads up to the top floor. The reception rooms blend into the surrounding landscape through broad picture windows with sweeping views. These windows look out at a terrace and a swimming pool. The grounds are fenced and are fitted for security. They cover more than four hectares and include solar panels and a borehole with drinking water. The whole property offers views of the golden countryside of Portugal’s Alentejo region, which is dotted with holm oaks and olive trees. This haven combines relaxation with extensive spaces. It would be ideal for family life all year round.
