Our opinion

This villa, 3 km from the historic centre of Galatina and Santa-Caterina-d'Alessandria Basilica, stands out of sight of onlookers, behind a high perimeter wall, at the end of a private driveway. Flanked by pine and lemon trees, this 19th century building features classical architecture, comprising numerous openings on the facade, topped with several charming, defensive turrets. This property spans over 670 m² of living space, reached via an elegant central, paved courtyard which provides access to the house’s various wings. Inside, few works to be scheduled, but renovation works taking advantage of the many original decorative features, the cement floor tiles, the painted or starred, vaulted ceilings to be imagined. The roof terrace embraces a view, taking in the 4-ha estate and the surrounding countryside, less than 20 km from the famous Santa-Maria-al-Bagno beaches.
