Our opinion
Porto-Selvaggio nature park extends, between Nardò's fine Baroque palaces and the clear water of the Gulf of Taranto, over 1,000 hectares of nature reserve, with pathways shaded by Aleppo pine trees. This property is on the best possible of sites, at the very entrance to the park and just a few kilometres from the town’s historic centre. Although of a recent design (early 21st century), this villa with its brilliant white facade and its two roof terraces, bathed in sunlight, was directly inspired by traditional constructions. A quality building, it will be easy to renovate or convert for a holiday home or a tourist project. In the local area, there are superb underwater caves and a famous racing circuit, where French comedian Coluche set a new world motorcycle speed record in 1985.
