Our opinion
The Rato neighbourhood of Lisbon is a highly sought-after central district of the Portuguese capital. It is near the Jardin d'Estrella public park with its age-old trees and cultural events. The apartment lies in a modernist edifice that dates back to the 1930s. This building was designed by the renowned architect Cassiano Branco. It has a lift and has kept its original decorative features, both inside and outside. The apartment is high-ceilinged and spreads out from a corridor. It offers four pleasant bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are many schools near the property. The metro system is also close. The famous Portuguese singer Amalia Rodrigues, dubbed the ‘Queen of Fado’, lived near this spot.
