Our opinion
This vast property covers over 22 hectares of land, made up of meadows that are free of farming leases. The estate is tucked away in Wallonia, Belgium. The large farm complex lies at the end of a long, tree-lined drive. The farm buildings form a square shape and there is a former cloister here too – an annexe belonging to an abbey built in the 13th century. The different structures stand around an extensive paved court. They include a stable, a reception hall and a dwelling that offers a liveable floor area of around 400m². These buildings have been renovated masterfully. The monks’ hall, which lies in a wing, offers a floor area of around 320m². The vaulted rooms are remarkable. A bar and a professional kitchen adjoin them. A stable and barns complete the complex. This unique property would suit a wide range of business projects, partly thanks to its strategic location a short distance from the French border.
