Our opinion
This vast 10-hectare property is nestled in the gold-toned landscapes of the Serra de São Mamede natural park. It lies near the famous medieval castle of Castelo de Vide. Here on this estate, among olive trees and lush vegetation, there is a group of renovated houses. Some of them are built into the schist rock, which can be seen in the reception rooms. Four of the houses have a licence for rural tourism. One of them is the current owners’ dwelling. The houses are fully furnished with decor that is typical of the Alentejo region. They have many openings and windows. A river flows through the grounds all year round. A pump draws water from it for the swimming pool and irrigation. Authorisation has been given for part of the land to be used for sheep and horse grazing. These animals graze here in absolute freedom, reflecting the nature of this wild, enchanting region that you can explore.
