Our opinion
Certaldo's vineyards stretch across gently rolling hills in this agricultural part of Tuscany, where the landscape still has to be earned. A 20-hectare estate occupies these slopes, accompanied by rural buildings whose simplicity speaks volumes: built to produce, lived in to cultivate. Several outbuildings await restoration, which could serve as either a wine tourism project or an extended family home. The proximity of Certaldo, the medieval village where Boccaccio lived, places the property in a living territory steeped in centuries of literary and wine-growing history. Neither turned into a museum nor transformed into a backdrop, the estate retains its primary vocation while opening up to other uses.
