Our opinion
A farmhouse that combines rusticity and authenticity, and bears witness to traditional 18th-century Walloon architecture. The bricks and stone surrounds create a chromatic harmony that time has weathered just right. The light, filtered through the high, small-paned windows, reveals herringbone parquet flooring and deep-toned wood panelling in dialogue with the exposed beams. The planted enclosure, where daffodils announce spring, creates a link between architecture and nature. With its balance of preserved authenticity and contemporary comfort, this home offers those who appreciate it a haven of peace where time seems to stand still.
