Our opinion
This elegant, characterful dwelling lies in a calm village that is nestled in the beautiful Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse national park. The edifice is an old presbytery that was fully renovated in 2011. It is large and comfortable with a ground floor, a first floor and a second floor in the roof space. The house offers a total liveable floor area of around 426m². It has six bedrooms and a sauna. Many historical decorative features give the place its authentic charm, including its emblematic facade of red brickwork, which is typical of Wallonia and provides the perfect contrast with the lush garden that extends at the back. With its tranquillity and spaciousness, this property is the ideal gîte or holiday home, just a stone’s throw from the Franco-Belgian border and the cities of Charleroi and Charleville-Mézières.
