Our opinion
A former 17th-century mill on the banks of the Talla stream, combining the authenticity of the original materials with the functionality of a recent restoration. Peaceful and protected by its location in the valley, the property offers many possibilities for its future occupants. The rooms are distributed around the main living room, where a cave preserved under the foundations recalls the original milling activity. The park covers some 6,000 m² of enclosed land, crossed by the Talla, alternating between planted meadows and shaded banks. Its location in the Casentino allows easy access to the art cities of Tuscany while enjoying the privacy of the valley. A family would find this an ideally located place to live, within reasonable distance of Florence and Arezzo. The discerning restoration guarantees peaceful living, while the possibilities for further development leave it up to the next occupants to write the next chapter in the history of this mill.
