Our opinion
Leave Ciutadella behind, pass the last few houses and, within a few minutes, find yourself in the countryside of western Menorca. Follow the path to a house set amidst around 7.7 ha of land. Walk beneath its vaulted ceilings, which lend the rooms their spaciousness and light. Step into the five bedrooms – enough to accommodate family and friends. Step out onto one of the terraces as the sun begins to set. Push open the door to the old stables, imagine what they might become, and light the bread oven once more. In summer, head down to Santandria or Cala Blanca, go for a swim, and make your way back before nightfall. And start all over again the next day.
