Our opinion
This grand property lies equidistant from the Atlantic coast and the Serra da Estrela mountain range. It looks down at a vineyard. The house is not far from the old city of Viseu. The elegant edifice is nestled in lush vegetation. Its interior features historical decor in an atmosphere that recalls the novels of Arturo Pérez-Reverte. On the grounds, there is a guesthouse, a pond abounding in fish and a remarkable fortified tower. From all spots on this property, there is a clear view of the surrounding landscape, where grapes and olives grow beneath the sun of Portugal's enchanting hinterland.
