Our opinion
There are places in the Alentejo that you stumble upon without even looking for them—and that you never want to leave. This village at the foot of the Serra is one of them. The trails here wind naturally upward toward the rocky slopes and the forest, then wind back down toward the gardens that the stream’s water has always made so bountiful. Four and a half hectares that time has shaped with the patience that only the earth possesses.
