Our opinion
Ostuni is known as the “white town” because of its maze of narrow streets with their brilliant white, whitewashed facades. Visitors from the world over come to this much-appreciated destination to take advantage of the Salento peninsula’s pleasant way of life and to admire the famous, local “trulli”, round, dry-stone constructions typical of the Apulia region. In an area where building is permitted, this one has already been given authorisation for renovation by the town council. The project includes the construction of a house, spanning a total of approx. 80 m², with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a 40 m² swimming pool. The location is ideal, on wooded land, on the heights near to the town. Distinctly visible on the horizon, the clear water of the Adriatic Sea is an invitation to spend long, relaxing days on the beach below the cliffs of Polignano-a-Mare.
