Our opinion
Certain architectural styles embody the spirit of their era. A villa built in the 1950s bears this mark eloquently. It watches over the shores of Lake Trasimeno from the heights, where the views embrace the lake landscape. The layout of the spaces favours light and openness to the lake: large reception rooms on the ground floor and a Carrara marble staircase connecting the levels. The bedrooms are located upstairs. The grounds cover some 2 hectares planted with century-old trees, punctuated by terraces and lawns sloping down to the swimming pool. An outbuilding completes the estate. The property lends itself equally well to private residence or hospitality, its commanding position offering tranquillity and proximity to Perugia and Cortona.
