This Paris stone building, probably dating from the 17th century, has a soberly articulated facade, punctuated by windows with moulded casings and wrought iron guardrails. The entrance hall features dado rails, ceilings with decorative mouldings and a floor of Burgundy flagstones. From here, a wooden staircase covered with a walkway carpet leads up to the second-floor flat.
The restored, full-width flat has a floor area of almost 57m² and faces east and north-west. It enjoys open views over the urban surroundings, green spaces and typically Parisian buildings.
The spacious, light-filled entrance hall serves all the rooms: a bedroom and a kitchen, with windows opening onto a panoramic view of trees and beautiful facades, followed by a refurbished shower room and a reception room. Our opinion
Close to the Seine, this area of the Left Bank, a hub of Parisian cultural and intellectual life, has preserved the historical imprint and elegance of the “Grand Siècle” (the reign of Louis XIV) and the Age of Enlightenment. From the 17th century onwards, and throughout the 18th century, the aristocrats of the court of Kings Louis XIV and Louis XV had their private mansions built here, which inspired the construction of wealthy townhouses. In the centre of the Carré des Antiquaires, this flat, shrouded in silence and marked by its delicate ornamental features and the authenticity of its noble materials, would suit travellers looking for a pied-à-terre, an investor or even a company wishing to set up its offices here.
