Resolutely contemporary in both its architecture and its interior design, the chalet blends in delicately with the imposing landscape that it dominates from its promontory. The vertical orientation of the timber on the façades sets it apart from more traditional dwellings, giving it a unique elegance that is enhanced by the blond colour of the wood combined with the anthracite grey of the roof. The living areas here are organised around the spacious lounge with its wood-burning stove or in good weather on the terraces and balconies that invite you to extend your evenings. There is the possibility to leave the inspiration for your meals up to a chef to enable you to fully appreciate the warm and soothing atmosphere of the chalet on your return from hiking or skiing in the famous 4 Vallées ski area.
I was looking for a warm and welcoming place. I have dual nationality and the Valais proved to be an ideal choice. The locals are extremely friendly here and the atmosphere is convivial. The village of La Tzoumaz is authentic, surrounded by nature, farmers and a mountain pasture renowned for its cheese. I wanted to avoid resorts that were too touristy, and I found a rare balance here between tranquillity and accessibility here. The proximity of the slopes, the hiking trails and the cultural richness of the surrounding area, including the Verbier Festival, made this place even more appealing to me.

The story of the chalet begins when I purchased of a plot of land that I chose due to its proximity to the forest and its mountain views. I wanted to create a space that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Construction began in spring 2025, with particular attention paid to every detail. I wanted to make it a place where people could spend time with family and friends and take full advantage of the natural surroundings. Each stage was a challenge, but the objective remained the same: to bring a chalet to life that combines modern comfort with traditional charm.
The chalet can be booked on a self-catered basis, with access to the professional kitchen, or on a catered basis with an in-house chef. Massages, wine tasting evenings, musicians, or magicians are available to enrich your experience at the chalet. Cleaning is carried out on a daily basis throughout your stay. For ski enthusiasts, there is a ski room equipped with a boot dryer, and a locker rented out at the foot of the gondola provides easy access to the ski area, in 5 minutes, thanks to a shuttle service or car. The chalet also has a garden, something rare in the mountains, which opens onto the surrounding fields and woods.
Situated at an altitude of 1 500 m, La Tzoumaz has its own ski area, linked to Verbier and the 4 Vallées by cable car. Gilles Varone's cuisine in Savièse is inventive and delicious. He was voted Switzerland's best young chef in 2024. He has just been awarded his second Michelin star. In Riddes, the "Evéquoz” butcher has been established since 1970 and sells meat from the Valais. In Martigny, the Fromathèque has become an institution and the chocolatier Raffin is one of the best Swiss and European chocolatiers in my opinion. The Morand distillery is renowned for its fruit-based eaux de vie, liqueurs and syrups. The Fondation Gianadda hosts top-quality art exhibitions and concerts. In Sion, a visit to "Thuriot Antiquités" or "L'atelier No-Na" is usually synonymous with pleasant surprises.
